Level 4: Stay safe

CRC Articles 11 and 35

Nobody may take or sell you

It is against your rights for someone to take you, hide you, move you, or try to sell you.

How you can use it

  1. 1Move toward a safe adult, a staffed place or emergency service if you can.
  2. 2Say: “I may have been taken or I am afraid.”
  3. 3Ask for a safe placement, legal help and family tracing.

What a violation looks like

Someone moves you without permission, hides you, or says you belong to them.

Words you can use

“I may have been taken and I need a safe place.”

If speaking is hard, write it, draw it, send a message, or ask a trusted adult to say it with you.
