A map with no locked doors
Children have human rights. They are written in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child — a promise almost every country, including Australia, has agreed to keep.
Article 42 says children have the right to know those rights. This space is for that knowing. Not a quiz. Not a ladder. A set of paths you can wander because you are curious.
Together is not a boss level. It is all the rights at once, and it is open from the first moment, the same as Alive, Speak, or any other door. Kids do not need control. They need their curiosity expanded.
The Learning Circle records first names and dates of children who have been learning here — a classroom or family book, kept on this device. The feedback form is for anyone who uses the space.
- Alive — survival, health, a decent standard of living.
- Safe — protection from harm, and the right to be believed.
- Grow — education, play, rest, a mind of your own.
- Belong — name, family, culture, language.
- Speak — to be heard when decisions are about you.
- Fair — every child, no exceptions.
- Held — extra care when life has been hard.
- Together — all of them, at once, already yours.
