Essential services should not be taken away

You can ask how essential rights are funded, and use a complaint process if a minimum service is withdrawn.

How you can use it

1. 1Name the essential service that was cut: food, housing, health or school.
2. 2Ask the agency to explain the cut and restore a minimum.
3. 3Use an oversight or complaint process.

What a violation looks like

The State withdraws an essential child-protection service and leaves no minimum and no accountability.

Words you can use

“Please restore this essential service or explain a lawful minimum.”
