ICCPR Articles 2 and 3 · CEDAW Article 2
You can ask for an effective remedy
If a right is broken, you can ask for a real fix — not a shrug. Girls, mothers and boys should get equal services.
How you can use it
- 1Write what happened and which service failed.
- 2Say: “I want an effective remedy without discrimination.”
- 3Ask for a complaint number and an independent review if needed.
What a violation looks like
A mother or child is denied a remedy because of sex, race, disability or another status.
Words you can use
“I want an effective remedy and equal service.”
If speaking is hard, write it, draw it, send a message, or ask a trusted adult to say it with you.
